  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (or 4 small chicken thighs)
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt or to taste
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken – Pat the chicken dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  • Heat the Pan – In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the Chicken – Place the chicken in the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F). Remove and set aside.
  • Make the Garlic Butter Sauce – In the same pan, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Deglaze the Pan – Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, stirring to scrape up any brown bits from the bottom.
