Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 2 large chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce e.g., Frank’s RedHot
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp salt

For the Wraps:

  • 4 large whole wheat tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup shredded carrots
  • ¼ cup red onion slices
  • ½ cup light ranch or blue cheese dressing

Instructions

  • Prepare chicken: In a bowl, combine chicken pieces, hot sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, and salt. Toss to coat evenly.
  • Preheat air fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and preheat for 3 minutes.
  • Cook chicken: Place the chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking halfway through, until the chicken is crispy and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C).
  • Assemble wraps: Lay a tortilla flat and layer with lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, and red onion. Add the cooked buffalo chicken pieces on top. Drizzle with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
  • Wrap it up: Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll tightly from the bottom to the top.
  • Serve: Slice in half and serve with extra dressing or hot sauce on the side.

Notes

For an extra spicy kick, toss the cooked chicken in additional hot sauce before assembling the wraps.
Use your favorite veggies for added crunch or swap in a low-carb tortilla for a keto-friendly option.
